MyTests
Awanui offers New Zealand’s leading self-request test service – MyTests giving people the choice to monitor their own health without needing to visit their GP, or for those in New Zealand who don’t have one.
MyTests enables people who are well to self-request a blood test without needing a referral from a doctor or medical professional. There are over 60 tests to choose from including full blood count, cholesterol, hepatitis serology and testosterone levels. These can be ordered online and once a customer receives their test request form, they can get their blood collected at one of our 150 collection centres, and the results are emailed directly to them within days.
People can also support their fitness and sports performance through MyTests to know if they are getting the right nutrients and vitamins, and if their levels of white blood cells and cortisol are helping reduce stress and fatigue, supporting muscle strength and injury recovery. Through MyTests, you keep check on your health more easily.

Sexual Health 101
Sexual Health 101 is an innovative, easy-to-access and affordable online service removing barriers to accessing sexual health testing. It provides New Zealanders with direct access to chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, and syphilis testing and makes sexual health testing as accessible as possible across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Regular testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can mean an infection is detected and treated early, reducing the risk of illness, and preventing transmission. Customers who use this service can be assured all laboratory testing and reporting are done in the strictest of confidence.
