Following the success of the inaugural Co:Lab Forum held in 2020, Awanui is proud to be hosting the event again in 2022.
The theme for this year is “Toward the Patient-Centered Laboratory”. The forum will explore how data, technology and innovation can be used to enhance and deliver lab testing services and ensure people are at the centre of what we as a sector do.
Co:Lab brings pathology and laboratory experts together with leaders and innovators in the public and private health sectors. It is an opportunity for discussion about the current issues and developments for laboratory testing, engagement on new ways for interacting with patients, and a chance to hear different perspectives shaping the lab industry of tomorrow.
“Co:Lab is now a leading forum for new ideas and thinking, and it provides a platform for us to collectively look ahead about how labs can operate and evolve processes and service across the country.”” says Trevor English, Head of Strategic Business Development.
“We have an amazing group of speakers at this year’s forum including Associate Health Minister and COVID-19 Response Minister Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall, along with Sharon Shea MNZM, Board Member for Te Aka Whai Ora/Māori Health Authority.”
“Along our other expert guest speakers from across the lab and health sectors, we look forward to open and robust discussions, understanding different perspectives and experiences, and looking at how innovation enables our labs to keep delivering excellence and great outcomes for New Zealanders.”
“Events like this can’t easily go ahead without the support of our sponsors, so thank you to each of them for supporting this event and making it happen.”
Co:Lab 2022 is being held at Wellington’s Harbourside Function Centre, 4 Taranaki Street, from 21 – 22 September.
Tickets can be purchased through the Co:Lab website at colabforum.nz and include all presentations from guest speakers, networking opportunities, along with the function dinner on Wednesday the 21st.
